Each week we'll work on something different and the basic content will be repeated every 10 weeks with different variations to keep things fresh. Class will have our basic warm up, and conditioning, and then we'll work on movements and fun combos to integrate the movement. Finger cymbals will be taught but they are optional. Students are encouraged to purchase their own finger cymbals if planning to continue on to the intermediate class but there will be extra cymbals available for use in class. Please note that thought his class is cyclical, drop-ins are welcome at any time. Cycle dates will be updated regularly for those that want to start at the beginning of a cycle.

The intermediate/all levels class will focus on covering and refining the basics and getting comfortable with improvisation and group dancing. Classes will consist of a warm up/work out, foundation movement drills, dance breakdown and drills and/or choreography and improvisation practice. When time permits, the last 15-30 minutes of class students will have a chance to call out specific movements they'd like to work on and we'll break them down and incorporate them into the dance practice for that night. We will sometimes practice with finger cymbals or props in this class - advance notice will be given for prop classes.

Work out or dance clothes are recommended for mobility and body visibility but are not required. A hip scarf or belt can be useful to accentuate hip movement and showing the belly is totally optional. Some students prefer to dress up which can also be a lot of fun.
